Outcome/Building Character/Trip to HOLLYWOOD!

Fresh Start Arts & Entertainment student production program require participants to dig deep and discover hidden strengths, talents and creativity.  We want our students to report high levels of confidence, self esteem and team work skills.  In addition to multiple team building trips our youth will participate in, the students will also take a trip to Hollywood to preview a live taping of a nationally televised program.  We believe taking our students away from their normal element, will give them the time and space to examine their choices thus far, to create positive changes in their lives.

All students will be able to participate in a safety planning to learn how to approach and work with the police, they will learn self-defense techniques and first aid training by professionals from the local police department, Red Cross and a representative from the local self defense center.

Information, education and referral

Students will be given information about college entry exams, applying for scholarships and other higher education material, to support our higher learning initiative.
